The catalogue is compiled from public sources. Where a colour, year, or collection is associated with a specific source, we cite it here. If you find a conflict or a better citation, let us knowand we’ll update the entry.

  Le Creuset's own historical timeline of signature colours from 1925 onward. Primary source for first-release years of core shades.

• Le Creuset regional product catalogues

  Current colour and piece listings, cross-referenced across US, UK, EU, FR, JP, KR, ZA, and AU storefronts. Primary source for current colours and MSRPs.

• OvenSpot — Le Creuset Color Guide

  Comprehensive collector guide with regional palettes and discontinued colours. Cross-referenced for discontinuation years.

• Le Creuset Collectors — Facebook groups

  Several long-running collector communities maintain active records of vintage, anniversary, and regional-exclusive releases. Used for rarity tier calibration.

• Heritage auction records (Christie's, Sotheby's, eBay sold listings)

  Auction catalogues and sold-listing archives provide provenance and rarity context for vintage and grail-tier shades (e.g. the 1956 Elysée Yellow 12-piece set).

  Cross-reference for current-market colour availability. We do not rely on Amazon for historical data.
